Parker James, Paul DeFiglia, and Anson Hohne

This trio with myself (vib), Paul DeFiglia (bs) and Anson Hohne (dr) performs regularly in Nashville. We love jazz, funk, Brazilian music, and hip-hop, and we’ve found a sound that is a unique blend of our influences. We play tunes by Herbie Hancock, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Mac Demarco, Radiohead, and others, in addition to a deep catalog of jazz standards and music by forward-thinking composers of our day. Our sound veers between delicate, tasteful grooves and more eclectic, experimental visions. We also play original tunes and arrangements.

The trio has a twice-monthly residency at Vinyl Tap, playing the 2nd and last Thursday of every month. We can also be seen monthly at Reunion on 2nd Sundays. Numerous hotels have hired us to play, including Urban Cowboy, The Hutton Hotel, and the Dive Motel. There are many options to come see us, so please don’t be a stranger.
